The personnel for the production of permanent material connections, i.e. welders and solderers, must have an approval by a recognised independent testing body or a notified body for work on pressure equipment of category II or higher.
For such an approval, tests are carried out according to harmonised standards, such as the ÖNORM EN ISO 9606 series for the testing of welders or e.g. the EN ISO 13085 for the testing of solderers or equivalent tests.
At the accredited TÜV AUSTRIA test laboratory, all necessary destructive and non-destructive testing of the test pieces can be carried out.
The welding and soldering certificates are issued in cooperation with the accredited personal certification body TÜV AUSTRIA CERT GMBH.
