CE – Conformity Inspections
TÜV AUSTRIA carries out CE Conformity Tests for machines and products according to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
CE conformity examinations determine whether the protection goals of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC are fulfilled.
- Complete CE Conformity Examination according to the Machinery Directive
- Examination of the Technical Documentation according to Annex VII
- Examination or moderation of a risk assessment in accordance with Annex I
- Examination or assessment of the safety-related control of a machine
- Examination of the instruction handbook according to Annex I
TÜV AUSTRIA is notified for the following Machines and Products:
1. The following types of single-blade and multiblade circular saws for working with wood and materials having similar physical characteristics or for working with meat and materials having similar physical characteristics:
1.1. Sawing machines with fixed blade during operation, with fixed worktable or workpiece holder, with feed of the material to be sawn by hand or by means of a removable feed device;
1.2. Sawing machines with fixed blade during operation, with manually operated pendulum support or carriage;
1.3. Sawing machines with fixed blade during operation, with built-in mechanical feed device for the material to be sawn and manual loading and/or unloading;
1.4. Sawing machines with a movable blade during operation, with a built-in mechanical feed device for the saw blade and manual loading and/or unloading.
2. planers with manual feed for woodworking.
3. planers for one-side woodworking, with built-in mechanical feed device and manual loading and/or unloading.
4. the following types of band saws with manual loading and/or unloading for working with wood and materials having similar physical characteristics or with meat and materials having similar physical characteristics:
4.1. sawing machines with a fixed saw blade during operation and a fixed or reciprocating bed or workpiece holder;
4.2. sawing machines with the saw blade mounted on a reciprocating carriage.
5. combinations of the machines referred to in points 1 to 4 and in point 7 for working wood and materials with similar physical characteristics.
6. multi-spindle tenoning machines with manual feed for working wood.
7. hand-fed vertical milling machines for working wood and materials with similar physical characteristics.
8. presses, including bending presses, for the cold working of metal with manual loading and/or unloading, the moving parts of which, during operation, can have a stroke greater than 6 mm and a speed greater than 30 mm/s.
9. plastic injection and compression moulding machines with manual loading or unloading.
10. rubber injection and compression moulding machines with manual loading or unloading.
11. household waste collection trolleys for manual loading with pressing device.
12. lifting platforms for vehicles.
13. machinery for lifting persons or persons and goods involving a risk of falling from a vertical height of more than 3 m.
14. protective devices for the detection of persons.
15. logic units for safety functions.
16. roll-over protective structure (ROPS).
17. falling object protective structure (FOPS).
